SAT and ACT Mathematics Tutoring
The SAT is an entrance test used by most universities to make admissions decisions. The SAT is a multiple choice, pencil and paper test created and administered by the College Board.
There are two SAT sections:
1. Mathematics
2. Evidence-Based Reading and Writing
Unlike the SAT, the ACT also includes a Science section. The SAT also includes an optional essay section. SAT essay scores are reported separately from overall test scores. Some universities may require you to complete an SAT essay. The exam duration is 3 hours long, but if you choose to take the exam with an essay, the exam duration will be 3 hours and 50 minutes.
The answer to the question of whether the SAT score or the ACT score is more valid;
Most universities accept scores from the SAT or ACT. In this case, it is not possible to say that one test is superior to the other. The surest way is for students going to college to take both the SAT and the ACT and get valid scores from both. Unlike the SAT, the ACT test includes the Science section, and we recommend that students who will study in science, engineering, or medicine pay more attention to their ACT score.
Math Tutoring for IB and AP Programs
Higher Level Mathematics (HL) is a two-year course offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB). This program is offered to students in some schools in Istanbul. Again, some schools also apply AP programs in line with the demands and capacities of the students. Obtaining such international qualifications paves the way for students to study at good universities abroad. Having AP-level qualifications according to the department to be chosen by students whose target is abroad provides great advantages for university admissions.
